A cutting forme/die is a tool used by
print-finishers, corrugated box makers, foam
manufacturers, solid board carton makers and
gasket makers (to name but a few) to cut out,
and sometimes crease, any shape or style that
they require whether it is a FEFCO/ECMA
industry standard, or personal design.
It consists of a plywood base with steel rule
inserted to produce the desired cutting shape
(see image above).
